Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to join this successful and welcoming primary school in the March area.
About the Role
1:1 Teaching Assistant
This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 15:30pm, working with children with special educational needs within Nursery and Reception classes.
This role will commence in February 2025 until July 2025.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is:
Level 2 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning and SEND experience would be desirable for this role.
The Role
Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support on a 1:1 basis.
The School
This primary school is looking for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The Head Teacher and leadership team are dedicated to providing an outstanding level of education to the children within the school. The school is friendly and welcoming and has a positive ethos.
Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools or have experience working with children with SEND
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
• Have experience supporting children in primary education within key stage 1
