Description:

KCare Supervisory function:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the centre operations.
  • Plan and implement weekly schedules and programmes for the KCare children and ensure that programmes are delivered based on (MOE) Ministry of Education guidelines.
  • Plan and manage the staff scheduling, ensure staff (including programme staff and support staff) to children ratio is maintained at all times.
  • Inform and update MOE Kindergarten (MK) of all activities in a timely manner.
  • Be a mentor to staff as well as a team player.
  • Build strong partnerships and rapport with the following stakeholders, namely the children, parents, school personnel and the relevant authorities.
  • Plan outreach programmes and excursions for the children during the school holidays.
  • Conduct surveys with parents/ guardians to evaluate the services provided by the KCare Centre on a half-yearly basis.

Job Requirements of KCare Supervisor:

  • At the minimum, hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – (DECCE-T) or an ECDA recognised equivalent obtained in the English medium.
  • Preferable to have leadership experience in a pre-school setting.
  • Experience in KCare or MOE Kindergarten advantageous.
  • Required language(s): English: Must excel in both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Goggle Workspace

  • Able to manage centre’s operations, budget, income and expenditure
  • Able to communicate effectively and manage your team of programme and support staff
  • Required Skill(s): leadership, manpower management, childcare, programme planning, lesson planning, coordination, programme execution, operation planning, strong communication skills
