Kitchen Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed.
• Receive and store deliveries properly.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef.
