Are you looking for a seasonal, full-time position during the summer months and willing to take the chance to be a part of a team-oriented crew that creates an extraordinary experience for our guests?
Eagle Pointe Lodge is where you will find it. We are located on beautiful Wales Island, located just north of Prince Rupert, BC.
Reporting to the Chef, we are seeing a Kitchen Assistant who has a passion for food and hospitality and is focussed on providing first-class experience. The ideal candidate must be guest focussed with a strong ability to take initiative to do what needs to be done to ensure guests of the lodge enjoy a seamless, comfortable and unforgettable experience. Living a remote lifestyle, our Kitchen Assistant needs to be a positive team player working along the other lodge staff, and dedicated to providing an extraordinary guest experience.
This is a full-time, seasonal position with an approximate start date in late April ending early September 2025.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
- Baking/pastry experience an asset
- Remote lodge experience an asset
- Positive and hard-working attitude.
- Must be able to multi-task and have impeccable time management skills.
- Up to date food safe certification a must

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily prep work and take direction from Chef and Sous Chef
- Be able to bake delicious and creative treats for guests and staff
- Prepare made-to-order lunches for guests according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Strive to create a memorable experience for both guests and staff
