JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Organise and store food supplies and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Support chefs during service by helping with basic cooking tasks when required.
- Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
