Overview:
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team in at Blackhouse Bar and Grill. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a desire to work with a friendly team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Keep workstations clean and organized
- Dispose of waste and recycling properly
- Assist chefs and cooks as needed during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
