Job Introduction
The Colonnades at The Signet Library are currently looking to add a Kitchen Porter to our casual team. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individuals.
You will join our small yet strong team who provides friendly yet professional service in a beautiful Georgian setting. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town on the Royal Mile, Colonnades at the Signet Library is the perfect place for ‘Edinburgh’s finest afternoon tea and delicious cocktails and fizz.
Uniform for the staff will be provided by the site .Gratuities are done on a weekly basis. A meal is provided on site.
Shift lengths are usually during the day and a weekly night shift. 35 hours per week and weekend working will be required.
Salary: £11.50-12.00 per hour + Gratuities This will be a casual role.
Main Responsibilities
- Washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and occasionally helping with food prep work.
- Assisting the kitchen team with unloading and putting away deliveries, emptying bins, and ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly.
