Job Introduction
As a Kitchen Porter for Sodexo in a LVS Ascot London Road SL5 8DR , you will be a key part of the kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and food & beverage preparation areas. Your cheerful, can-do attitude will make you a major part of the everyone’s every day.

What you’ll do:

• Washing all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment.
• Ensuring that the following are kept clean and tidy and to a very high standard:
• Floors & Walls, Bins – inside and out, Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes, Fridges & Freezers (with assistance of chefs), Delivery areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.
• To be aware of and to adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking and to ensure the correct chemicals/detergents are always used.
• Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.
• To report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor

What you bring:

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
• Basic food-handling skills
• Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• No previous work experience required.

• 37.5 hours per week
• Working: Monday - Friday 7:00-15:00 and 12:00-20:00 (alternate early/Late shifts on Rota)
