CONTRACT: PERMANENTSALARY: £11.49 PER HOUR

A fabulous independent day school for girls and part of a large group of schools. Set across two buildings in the heart of gorgeous Notting Hill, London. Catering for about 565 students and teachers. We offer a core feeding of Lunch & mid morning snack and some hospitality. This is a term time only contract working 40 weeks a year. This school operates Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in London.
You’ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe and up to our very high standards of cleanliness

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred

• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Operate industrial dishwasher
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food preparation
• Receive deliveries, keep fridges and storerooms organised
• Set up a dining hall
• Excellent customer service skills
