POSITION OVERVIEW

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Kitchen Designer / Sales Representative to work at our showroom. This position works with professionalism and consistency to design spaces for our remodeling and home renovation clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Networking: Actively generate leads by leveraging personal contacts and social media platforms to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Qualify each prospect’s needs and desires, converting them into a tailored sales action plan to drive successful outcomes.
  • Site Assessment & Client Engagement: Conduct job site measurements and gather detailed information, ensuring the cabinet layout aligns with the customer’s vision and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Visual Documentation: Capture “before” photographs of remodeling projects to showcase transformations and support sales presentations.
  • Product Knowledge & Presentation: Gather comprehensive details on all job-related products to deliver compelling presentations that address customer needs and preferences.
  • Design & Proposal Creation: Utilize 20/20 Design or other software to prepare cabinet drawings and develop proposals aimed at securing sales.
  • Customer-Centric Adjustments: Revise quotes or drawings in response to evolving customer requirements, maintaining a focus on closing the sale.
  • Payment Collection: Ensure timely collection of payments from clients, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • Trade Show Engagement: Actively participate in home/trade show rotations to expand network and generate sales opportunities.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients.
