Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE…

As Kitchen Stores Assistant you will be responsible for all kitchen deliveries, making sure they accurate, not damaged and safe to use. You will also be responsible for stock rotation in our kitchen stores and fridges adopting a First in First Out system. You will assist with stocktakes making sure counts are accurate. In addition you will maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen fridges and help out where needed with kitchen deep cleans. When a kitchen is busy, equipment will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for chefs and service staff to use. In addition to keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, Kitchen Stores Assistant may sometimes be involved in food preparation.

ABOUT THE ROLE…

Your main priority is to accept all kitchen deliveries checking for accuracy, damage and safe for use. Adopt a First in First Out system for the stock held in our stores and fridges. Help with stock takes and ensure our kitchen/s run smoothly by making sure everything is clean, tidy, safe and hygienic. When a kitchen is busy, equipment will need to be cleaned quickly and be ready for chefs and service staff to use. In addition to keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, kitchen porters can sometimes be involved in food preparation.
