Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As a Kitchen Technician you are responsible for all Kitchen equipment’s maintenance as instructed by General Mechanical Supervisor while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a similar position is desired
  • Experience is the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Technical expertise in repairing and maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
  • Awareness of safety regulations and compliance standards for kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility in terms of shifts working hours

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment are properly maintained and service to upkeep all equipment and to avoid breakdown
  • Perform preventive maintenance and completes the turn-over quickly and efficiently in order to satisfy and meet the Guest needs
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
  • Respond to breakdowns of equipment and being available in case of emergency and applying the appropriate action as per Hotel policy and standards
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Offer guidance to kitchen staff on best practices for equipment care to maximize efficiency and prevent damage.
