Are you a skilled Mechanical Handling Field Service Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our North Field Service Engineers team, specifically serving the North West region, including Greater Manchester.

BATTERY MAINTENANCE:

️ Check voltages and fluid levels of forklift trucks, using meters and hydrometers.
Qualifications and Skills of the Forklift Field Service Engineer:
You will have worked with material handling products or hold an engineering position and are looking for the next step to further your career; however, we are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds such as: Automotive, Roadside recovery, Agricultural, REME, Construction Equipment, PSV, HGV, LGV or Plant.
️ Respond to breakdowns.
️ We pride ourselves on our customer service. You’re the face of our company we are looking for someone that can build a good rapport & deal promptly with customer downtime helping to keep their business moving!
️ Shows initiative and can help to support and direct others when they need it as well as accomplish their own tasks.
️ Achieve agreed targets, i.e., response time.
️ Completion of documentation to company standards
️ Liaise with our parts team to ensure appropriate stock levels are held on the company vehicle.
️We would love your help with working on mobile machinery (brakes, steering, wheels, lift chains etc.)
️ Do you have experience in Electrical drive and control systems, Diesel and LPG engines and common drive-trains?
️ Hydraulics?
