Description:

Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is hiring a full-time Knowledge Management Consultant to join our growing Strategic Consulting Practice. As with all of our positions, we seek independent thinkers with exceptional written and oral communication skills. This position demands a deep understanding of business strategy and development, experience with knowledge management technology solutions, business analysis, and consulting skills.
The Knowledge Management Consultant will lead our strategic consulting efforts using their experience to help our large fortune 500 and federal clients with strategic planning and implementation while leveraging agile principles to translate business needs and insights into an actionable strategy to help properly plan, design, demonstrate and implement knowledge management solutions.

Our office is located in Arlington, VA and will be Hybrid for those living within a commutable distance. EK will support remote work if you reside in the following states: GA, IN, FL, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, IL, AZ, OR, WA, CO or TX.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5+ years of consulting experience in knowledge management consulting, data & information management, and business analysis
  • Ability to understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into KM solution designs and implementation roadmaps
  • Experience interfacing with executives and presenting to senior-level staff
  • Familiarity with content management, information management, information systems, data management, or related discipline(s)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Facilitation and Design thinking experience / certification
  • Change management and communications experience
  • Experience with strategic planning and business development in the management consulting industry
  • Previous experience with Knowledge Management, Content Management, and Strategy
  • Experience working with project management and collaboration systems such as Trello, JIRA, MS Suite, etc.
    EK considers a broad range of factors in considering employee salary including a candidate’s skills, experience, education, certifications, past successes, and qualifications. A range for a starting pay for this role is $110,000 to $150,000 with most candidates likely to fall in the lower half. This range does not guarantee a specific salary and may be adjusted based on the needs of the company and the candidate’s qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of KM Strategy and advisory engagements to enable knowledge management adoption for clients
  • Lead project facilitation and stakeholder engagement models to help clients shape the vision and strategy for successful KM programs/initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop KM milestones and deliverables - leveraging agile methodologies and approaches to define and lead KM project work streams that align with strategic vision and guide the iterative delivery of KM projects
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop internal practices, teams, and strategic initiatives to support growth activities
  • Develop presentations, proposals, demos, and other client-facing materials
  • Actively engaging as a thought leader in Knowledge Management through social media and marketing efforts
  • Progress in your mastery of core consulting skills and KM skills
