About the Role:
We are seeking a Knowledge Management Lawyer in our market-leading M&A/Private Equity practice group in London to support the delivery of a broad portfolio of knowledge resources. The role will be located in our London office and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring current legal, regulatory, and market developments, and keeping the attorneys abreast of these developments through emails, bulletins, training or other appropriate means
- Drafting and maintaining standard forms, templates, guidance notes and other knowledge resources to help our attorneys to work at the highest level
- Supporting the group’s training programmes, providing substantive training to the associates and trainees as well as more general training on knowledge resources generally
- Analysing market trends and supporting the preparation of the firm’s European M&A and Private Equity Market Surveys
- Supporting the delivery of the firm’s regular PE Views and M&A Views thought leadership publications and wider thought leadership efforts, including developing ideas for articles and writing and editing content
- Participating in external forums with members of the wider legal community and external service providers in order to keep abreast of regulatory and industry developments
- Generally acting as a sounding board for ad hoc legal and technical legal queries from attorneys
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- A solicitor qualified in England and Wales
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- A self-starter willing to take the initiative and able to perform responsibilities without close supervision
and have:
- A Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent)
- A minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience as a practising lawyer in mergers & acquisitions and private equity at a leading international law firm
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
- The ability to work independently on and deliver projects of significant complexity on a timely basis.

Whilst our expectation is that candidates will have 5 years PQE or more, we are open to candidates at all levels, including those with very significant experience in this field.
