As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a KS3 Science Teacher to join our close-knit team at Wetheringsett Manor School located in Suffolk.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher.
- To teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum.
- In consultation with the Deputy Head, undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school’s curriculum.
- Look to expand the “live Sciences” curriculum to enhance pupils understanding of the world we live in.
SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To teach primarily Science to KS3 pupils but also a variety of general subjects across the national curriculum to students aged between 11-16 at other times.
- To be a form tutor for students to support them in their education.
- To assist with some vocational qualifications in the afternoon sessions.
