Description:

Our client, a software company in the Bremen region is focused on leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and semantic networks to drive innovation in the healthcare sector. The interdisciplinary team includes experts from fields like computer science, nursing science, health management, and linguistics, collaborating to develop smart, user-friendly software solutions. These products are designed to enhance customer processes and support decision-making through data-driven insights.
They are currently looking to expand their team and are seeking a full-time or part-time employee to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

  • Develop software using modern tools and frameworks within a motivated, friendly, and supportive team.
  • Experiment with and implement new methods, frameworks, and programming languages.
  • Manage and work with extensive data lakes containing millions of objects.
  • Operate in an agile working environment with short release cycles, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and CICD tools.
  • Engage in diverse and varied tasks with flexible working models in a growing, owner-managed company.
  • Work at a modern workplace in a high-tech and research-focused area in northern Germany, with good transport links and private parking spaces (soon including charging facilities for electric cars).
  • Utilize the option for mobile working, either from home or another location.
  • Actively participate in company processes and take advantage of training opportunities.
  • Contribute to a collaborative corporate culture with flat hierarchies.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in managing and orchestrating on-premise Kubernetes clusters, preferably with K3s and K9s.
  • In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka, FluxCD (Kustomize), and Ansible.
  • Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Proficiency with Docker/OCI and their integration with Kubernetes.
  • Good knowledge of Git & GithubActions (Github Action Runner).
  • Experience with container registry systems such as Harbor & Nexus.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management with Keycloak.
  • Enjoy working in a team in an agile process, with engagement in both scientific and practical aspects.
  • Passion for tackling complex problems and mastering challenges.
