Description:
OVERVIEW:
Emagine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented KYC Analyst with client due diligence experience to join our prestigious Investment Bank client in our London office. Our team is committed to ensuring our institutional partners meet the highest legal and regulatory standards and assessing the associated risks.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of experience in a financial institution, compliance department, or regulatory agency.
- Experience working with investment funds, complex structured entities, and offshore jurisdictions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey findings and interact with clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the financial stability and risk associated with institutional clients.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or ICA certificate (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on institutional clients, verifying their identity, ownership, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate risk factors associated with each institutional partner, including their business activities, geographic locations, and counterparties.
- Analyse and review legal and financial documents provided by institutional clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Perform ongoing due diligence to monitor changes in risk profile or ownership of institutional clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Office and directly with clients as needed to obtain necessary supporting evidence for KYC due diligence.
- Assist in preparing for Client Acceptance Committees for High-Risk accounts and participate in meetings if required.
- Conduct onsite visits and client meetings, providing valuable insights and ensuring adherence to current regulations.
- Handle client onboarding tasks associated with KYC, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified, and clients are onboarded in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work in tandem with the Compliance and Financial Crime departments to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations.
