PROJECT SUMMARY

:
Do you have experience of providing Data Architecture expertise within a large Data Warehouse project.
This consulting opportunity is to support our client (a leading Financial Services company),
in creating a highly secure, cloud-based data warehouse solution in Snowflake.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • Data Modeling with Data Vault 2.0: Proven expertise in designing and implementing data models using Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
  • Snowflake Proficiency: In-depth experience with Snowflake, including setup, optimization, and best practices for building efficient and secure data warehouse solutions.
  • Data Transformation with dbt Core: Strong skills in using dbt core to create and manage data transformation processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in data warehouse design and data engineering, ideally within cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices for implementation.
  • Expertise in Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with dbt core for data transformation processes.
  • Quality Assurance skills to ensure high standards in data engineering work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside data architects and cross-functional teams.
  • A Security-conscious mindset, understanding data encryption, RBAC, and Single Sign-On (SSO) principles in data management.
