POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Facilitate training programs that meet with current and future requirements for organisational business units, Strategic Alliance Partners and Authorised Representatives.
  • Maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Design, develop, deliver and evaluate technical and non-technical L&D solutions to support business objectives, values, vision and specific team requirements - in line with cultural integration.
  • Ensure that training documentation complies with relevant industry legislation, and ensure that Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards are met where vocational education outcomes are required. Ensure gaps are identified and resources updated and communicated.
  • Research, recommend and coordinate the implementation of, modern, best practice capability development methods, techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by offering innovative ideas and solutions to enhance policies, processes, and learning tools. Conduct and/or deliver train-the-trainer sessions for new content, ensuring materials are fit for purpose.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace training (TAE) (Desired but not essential)
  • Certification within the Financial Services industry highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical and behavioral training within the Financial Services industry.
  • High level facilitation experience (on the job and/or classroom).
  • Understanding of training/learning processes, theories and methodologies including adult learning principles and styles.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and organisational skills.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a dynamic service operation.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-management, participative decision-making, team participation and the ability to accept, promote and manage change.
  • Current drivers license and own transport/ability to travel to various offices when delivering training.

Responsibilities:

The Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant position is integral to building the organisation’s onboarding and ongoing development, through end-to-end facilitation of company-wide organisational operational programs that support the achievement of the People & Culture and Auto & General strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in coaching and educating individuals both in and out of the training room. You will be driven and passionate about people, the onboarding journey, and confident in presenting to diverse audiences in various settings.
