Description:
Job Purpose: To analyse, evaluate, develop and deliver learning programs to a multicultural audience within the Emirates Group and its strategic partners by using blended training methods. All training must be aligned to the corporate objectives, Vision, Mission and Values, and must comply with National and International standards and regulations.
Accountabilities:
The accountabilities have been divided into Plan-Deploy-Lead-Execute to enable:
- Maximising the ‘Value added’ and ‘essential’ activities across roles
- Identification of roles whose activities correspond to multiple parts of the value chain
- Reduction in the level of complexity for roles whose focus is on ‘execution’ of the processes
- Ensure aligned accountabilities across similar roles
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
EXPERIENCE:
- Human Resources Training 3+ Years
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS
- Degree of an internationally recognised professional qualification in the area of expertise. The jobholder will be required to have a training qualification equivalent to City and Guilds International Certificate in Teaching and Training.
- Experience in Pushback & Towing Operations 6+ Years
- Experience in a similar role
- It is desirable to be a certified First-Aider or Fire-Warden.
- Knowledge of training packages, relevant competency and performance standards, policies, legal requirements, codes of practice and national and international standards and industry best practices to be used as the basis of the learning program
- Knowledge of Instructional design principles relating to different design options for learning program design and structure
- Thorough practical working knowledge of learning and development processes and methodologies and ability to design and develop innovative and effective learning solutions
- Relevant OHS knowledge relating to the work role and OHS considerations that need to be included in the learning program.
- Sound evaluation skills to determine the time required for each learning segment and the overall timelines of the learning program. Sound cognitive skills to develop the learning program content and design its structure
- Ability to read and interpret a range of documentation, including technical and subject matter documents.
- Conflict resolution ability
- Strong interpersonal skills and a cultural sensitivity to the local community would be critical for this role, together with the ability to influence diverse groups of people through excellent communication and presentation techniques.
- Experience of working in an environment aligned to international audit and regulatory requirements relevant to the area of specialisation.
- Ability to gather and analyse data, draw meaningful conclusions, and write comprehensive reports on business situations and the performance of individuals.
- Demonstrate good project management knowledge use of project management and MS Office products.
