Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated L1 Support Engineer to join our team. As an L1 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring that their systems run smoothly. You will work closely with our clients to troubleshoot and solve any issues they may be facing, and provide proactive solutions to prevent future problems. This is a dynamic role that offers opportunities for growth and development, as well as the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology solutions organization
- Excellent understanding of Linux (essential)
- Excellent knowledge of Ceph or GlusterFS
- Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes or Slurm
- Experience with database management and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and security protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- English is a must.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to clients via Slack Channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates
- Create and maintain technical documentation for procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues
- Proactively monitor systems to identify and address potential problems
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support
