Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled L2 Application Support Engineer to provide day-to-day support for our Java/Web-based applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of our production systems. Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement new application releases while adhering to best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of L2 application support experience.

STRONG KNOWLEDGE IN:

  • Linux/Unix Shell Scripting
  • SQL (MySQL/MSSQL)
  • Java/Web-Based Applications (Troubleshooting & Debugging)
  • OpenShift/Docker
  • AngularJS, ActiveMQ, ElasticSearch, CI/CD, Python, Microservices

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for Java/Web-based applications, ensuring system availability and performance.
  • Coordinate infrastructure maintenance and manage application releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Infrastructure, Security, Vendors) for seamless support.
  • Timely resolution of production issues in line with SLAs.
  • Enhance support processes to improve service quality.
