Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team. As a rope access technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights using rope access techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in challenging environments. We will be working on a turnaround in the Conklin, AB area for approximately month with camp accommodations.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in rope access techniques and equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment as required
  • Welding skills for repairs and fabrication
  • Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe access and egress
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • JLG certification is an asset
  • Current IRATA L3 Certification (required)
  • Recent and extensive rope access experience
    Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55.00 per hour

  • Rate is negotiable for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on structures and equipment at heights using rope access techniques
  • Conduct rigging and rope systems for safe access and egress
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
