Job Summary:
The Lab Assistant - Claims review and supervises the daily operations of the laboratory office. Performs compliance audits as assigned. Performs charge rejections, charge holds, charge reconciliation, and resolves charge issues with billing, coding, and client/patient billing in a timely manner. Performs compliance tasks (Monthly, Quarterly, and as needed). Covers safety huddle attendance and facilitates in the Director’s absence and communicates any issues. Maintaining procedures in the proper format and updating revisions as needed. Performs tasks as needed for operations in the laboratory. Covers the state reportable as needed. Covers the Reference Lab Charges that need billed as needed. Lab Critical result data reporting to Nursing daily. Pillar Board documents and Policy Review sign-offs.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CPR (preferred)
  • Background Clearances (as required by law)
