Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Leaving Certificate or 3rd level related course/certificate
  • Experience within a regulated GMP environment is beneficial
  • Experience within a manufacturing /process driven environment adhering to SOPs and procedures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to adhere to laboratory policies and standard operating procedures
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Satisfactory skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Basic knowledge of technical/scientific terminolgy, health and safety standards and inventory management
  • Ability to adapt to new work procedures and environments
  • Solid problem solving / troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Daily and weekly duties include the following:

  • Glassware management (Cleaning, inspection, stocking and ordering of Laboratory glassware).
  • Chemical inventory (Ordering of chemicals, reagents and consumables)
  • Chemical waste management
  • 5S responsibilities, Audit prep and Kaizen events
  • PPI Projects
  • Waste disposal
  • Lab coat management
  • Stock inventory management
  • Interdepartmental communication
  • Data Entry
  • Audit and Client Visit Prep
  • Other duties/projects assigned by supervisor/manager
  • CISPro management of goods received
  • Buddy program / NEOP tour
  • General lab duties
  • Ensuring safety stations are adequately stocked i.e. spill kits and Diphoterine stations
  • Involved in ERT and First Aid
  • Monitoring safety in the labs and reporting near misses
  • Crossed trained to provide cover and support to other depts in Lab Support
  • Serve as a point of contact for analyst queries and request
