REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License credentialed from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date. With acceptable driving record required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Transports laboratory specimens.

• Pick up specimens, supplies, mail, reports and other documents from the laboratory or off-site locations as assigned and promptly deliver to designated location.
• Navigate region served, including general and specific routes established for routine and urgent transport.
• Assist with maintenance of supplies.
• Prepare and submit all required documentation.
• Assure courier vehicles are in good working order, assures timely deliveries, and maintains adequate supplies of laboratory materials.
• Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations. ,
