REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Lab IT end-user support within the Pharma or Biotech industries or equivalent work experience and applicable certifications
  • Experience with Lab instruments and lab instrument PCs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Install and upgrade software
  • Support first line of troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

  • Perform user administration tasks, including crafting user accounts and ensuring their validity.
  • Incident resolution (troubleshooting, physical checks of instruments, network issues, and licenses)
  • Coordinate with vendors and interact with network teams to facilitate the installation of lab instruments
  • Write and update SOPs
  • Provide periodic reviews and maintenance support to instrument owners, including ensuring maintenance plans are followed and supporting firmware updates
