Description:

The Beirne B. Carter Center Immunology Research (CIC) at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine seeks applicants for a Laboratory Specialist to become a participating member of the Ewald Lab. The incumbent will participate in research studying host-pathogen interactions and chronic inflammatory disease and contribute to lab management. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Self-guided and creative in seeking possible solutions to experimental/design challenges.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working with laboratory animals.
