• Supervise a team of Lab Technicians and Shift Technicians
• Engage the team to continuously improve safety
• Ensure personnel are trained in their job duties
• Manage resources and schedules during planned and unplanned absences
• Guide team work priorities and backlog
• Prepare statistical and test reports on analytical processes as required
• Recommend the alteration or modification to existing systems, provide technical advice to personnel for improving maintenance and operating efficiency
• Continuously improve the lab QA/QC program and ensure stewardship by team
• Support product quality program through audits and investigations
• Provide ongoing formal and informal job feedback to direct reports
• Other duties as assigned
