Wat je doet

As Lab Technician, you will:

• Analyze customer requirements/specifications and work together with sales to find the best solution for customers;
• Plan and conduct testing activities to qualify materials according customers’ specification;
• Solve technical problems related to design, application and performance;
• Be involved in technical aspects of material development projects / new material constructions in co-operation with marketing, production and printer department in order to come up with innovative solutions to meet customer needs;
• Advice production and the printer department on materials related questions and projects;
• Work closely together with manufacturing for testing materials on existing and new manufacturing methods;
• Support sales and marketing with technical product knowledge. You answer technical questions to analyze and support field applications;
• Have regular contact with the global R&D department to discuss ongoing projects and share information;
• Occasionally you have to travel (max. 5% of the time).

Wie je bent
Ideally you are a candidate with a Professional or Academic Bachelor’s degree in a science related field and you already had a first (2-5 years) working experience. Technical affinity with printing, labeling, coating and adhesives systems is not required but can be a plus.
In addition to the science part we’re looking for a true team player who is proficient in English, has an eye for detail, can prioritize work independently and most of all has the eager to be welcomed by a warm team in a modern, international, multifaceted and supportive environment.
