QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in Science with a major in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in Immunology or Molecular Biology techniques such as Western Blotting, ELISA or Column chromatography preferred
  • Prior experience in immunohistochemistry is an asset
  • Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication for team collaboration
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting expertise
  • Passion for Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or relevant fields

Responsibilities:

As Lab Technician, you will:

  • Apply technical knowledge and laboratory skills to perform various experiments, including monoclonal antibody production, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting, and column chromatography under the supervision of senior R&D scientists.
  • Assist with immune staining procedures, including tissue processing, fixation, embedding, sectioning, staining, and analysis.
  • Follow established laboratory practices and to operate equipment include microtome, IHC automatic stainer, microscopes to ensure safety, smooth operations and efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze experimental data, and maintain detailed and organized records.
  • Present findings in meetings and contribute to project planning.
