Responsibilities:
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Vacancies currently exist for Grade 2 Laboratory Assistants at our central laboratory in Heidelberg to help with the receipt and processing of pathology specimens in our Specimen Reception Department.
- Be part of our dynamic team where your self-motivation, enthusiasm, and teamwork will complement your technical abilities in this pivotal role. You will be responsible for prompt receipting, ID checking, sorting, and accessioning of pathology specimens as well as helping oversee the laboratory’s automation system.
- These are permanent positions with rotating shifts, including evening shifts and weekend work.
- These opportunities are entry-level and will suit candidates looking to gain experience in a medical laboratory setting, looking to get into the workforce or re-joining the workforce.
- No experience needed. Training provided on the job.
