Currently we’re looking for a talented and open-minded Laboratory Engineer in Dresden, Germany to contribute to our success by bringing the needed technical expertise to work on best-in-class products. The main purpose of this role is planning, constructing, programming and commissioning of tests related to development or production phase.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform measurements especially for the characterization of electric, magnetic, mechanical product properties as well as to document results according to technical requirements
  • Design and develop testing and test facilities for a semi-automatic data acquisition
  • Edit development-related measurement tasks while cooperating with the Project Team including preparation, programming, measurement, evaluation (tools: LabView, Python, MySQL, etc.)
  • Create work documentation in the form of measurement and test reports
  • Responsible collaboration in project teams
  • Assessment of specifications and customer requirements for technical, economic and deadline realization with a focus on testing technology
  • Coordinating and carrying out measurements together with customers and suppliers
  • Responsible for the implementation of the operational quality objectives and compliance with the specifications of the QSS

Our requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering (Mechatronics/Electrical or Industrial Engineering) or Mechatronics Technician educational background
  • Ideally a few years of experience in similar role but fresh graduates, junior engineers are also welcome
  • Understanding of electric drives, actuators as well as pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Industrial experience with some notion of automation (automotive industry experience is an asset)
  • Fluency in German AND English
  • Experience in programming preferably of LabView, Python, SQL or Embarcadero Delphi
  • Experience in electrical installation and circuit design under laboratory conditions is an advantage
