ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Ermita, Manila
Role Type: Full-time
Department: Technical Services
Reporting to: Product Technical Manager
As a Technical Service Engineer - EML / Lighting, you will be responsible for the overall operation involving research, design, testing, evaluation, and development of all EML (Emergency Lighting) and Lighting products under FELCO.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Managing the Product Testing, Product Evaluation, Product Research and Product Development
• Being involved in Product Manual Generation and Packaging Reviews
• Regulating Test Equipment Management (Maintenance and Calibration) and Enhancement
• Initiating and planning Process Improvements
• Conducting Document Management (SOP’s/WI’s)
• Ensuring Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness
• Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
• Handling customer complaints, and providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and also doing follow-ups to ensure resolution.
• Keeping records of customer interactions and processing customer accounts and file documents.

TO SUCCEED AND GROW IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ECE
• At least one year of experience in the same role
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
• With Dialux software or lighting laboratory work experience
• Excellent product and market knowledge on electrical and lighting devices
• Must be willing to work in Ermita, Manila
