Culmen International is seeking a Laboratory Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As an operations liaison, you facilitate collaboration, maintain documentation, manage supplies, and support research initiatives at WRAIR.

Project Continuity and Coordination:
- You serve as a bridge between WRAIR-based research projects and collaborative efforts.
- Your goal is to provide continuity in project execution, including material acquisition, movement, training, and data collection.
- Personnel Training and Documentation:
- You maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel training folders for all staff members.
- The centralized database houses standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- You coordinate bi-annual SOP reviews and updates.
- Logistics and Supplies:
- You order supplies and laboratory materials, ensuring their delivery overseas for funded project efforts.
- Your tasks contribute to project progress and meeting timelines.
- Compliance and Recommendations:
- You ensure adherence to SOPs and policy guidelines in routine tasks.
- If needed, you recommend changes to existing strategies and practices.
- Inventory Management:
- You maintain a centralized database of inventories for chemical substances and laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Army policies is essential.
- Research Support:
- You provide support for procedure development, protocol writing, science plans, and grant proposals.
Basic Qualifications:
- M.S. in Microbiology, Immunology, Physiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other related scientific fields.
- Experience required in all areas: ordering, shipping, and receiving, budgeting and coordinating laboratory activities in a therapeutic development laboratory.
