POSITION OVERVIEW

Faculty: STEM and Innovation Studies
Location: E1W
Term: Full-time, permanent, based on site
Salary Range: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Direct Reports: To be confirmed
Reports To: Senior Academic Leaders and Operations Directors

Responsibilities:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the operations of newly created, state-of-the-art teaching laboratories and makerspaces dedicated to chemistry, biology, physics, and design. The successful candidate will ensure these facilities are fit for purpose, well-equipped, and meet the highest safety and regulatory standards in preparation for teaching activities starting September 2025.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Launching and managing multiple teaching laboratories and makerspaces.
  • Leading a new team of technicians.
  • Budget and resource planning.
  • Procurement and inventory management for equipment and consumables.
  • Establishing and maintaining health and safety protocols.
  • Supporting teaching and student research activities.

This role may involve occasional international travel for alignment with global institutional standards.
