Responsibilities:

OUR OPENING AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service expert to join the Service Team of the Laboratory Division at our Global Operational Headquarter in Greifensee, Switzerland. The Laboratory Division Service Team is managing the current and innovative new services for measurement and analytical devices used primarily in the pharmaceutical and life science industry. We are coordinating the development, execution, and continuous improvement of all aspects of our comprehensive service portfolio for after-sales lifecycle management.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overlooking the Service portfolio along the laboratory products’ lifecycle, from the initial service requirements phase to the decommissioning of a service
  • Coaching and supporting the Service Teams in the multiple Strategic Business Units of the Laboratory Division in developing and implementing the service portfolio
  • Ensuring the service readiness is fulfilled at product launches for both traditional onsite services and remote digital services
  • Harmonizing the processes and delivery of the Laboratory Service portfolio in close collaboration with the local service managers across Mettler-Toledo’s global network of 40+ market organizations
  • Ensuring that the service portfolios developed meet both customer and regulatory needs across a broad range of products in various industries

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in managing service portfolios and/or product (hardware) portfolios
  • You have a strong understanding of the laboratory equipment industry or a related sector
  • Experience product development and/or hardware services is an advantage
  • You have strong strategic thinking skills, project management skills, process optimization, and experience working collaboratively across various departments, multiple regions, and cultures in a global matrix organization
  • Excellent oral and written English skills any additional language is a plu
