Description:

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, and driven individual to join our team as our new Laboratory Supervisor!
This opportunity is based at our Granville Laboratory and will require travel between Greater Sydney and Carrington with company vehicle supplied. You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised.
Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, this is a multi-faceted role responsible for the NSW concrete laboratories and will see you assisting in the development and supervision of the laboratory resources to maximize the long-term viability of the laboratories while achieving short-term performance.

In your new role, you will:

  • Supervise the (Granville and Carrington) operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business through budgeting, utilisation, variable expenditure, testing income and profit to be achieved.
  • Drive the NATA framework and regulations applicable to the laboratories and ensure all compliance-based objectives are operated within statutory requirements.
  • Ensure employees comply fully with OH&S requirements and all legislative requirements.
  • Support Technical Team, Field testing team and Sales Team in achieving customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships through regular communications to ensure that we are aiming towards achieving the perfect day for our customers.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to achieve business goals and priorities.
  • Liaise, with the Technical Operations Manager, Laboratory technicians and control maintenance issues, repairs, procedures, servicing, and calibration of equipment.
