QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical, research, academic, or commercial/production laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Lab Technical Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our laboratory assays. This office-based position involves monitoring performance, validating tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Control Program: Develop and manage the local laboratory Quality Control Program, including statistical analysis and performance data reviews.
  • Test Validation: Validate laboratory tests for use in clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical subject matter expert, collaborating with IT/systems teams to ensure seamless functionality.
  • SOP Management: Draft and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to departmental activities.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements and troubleshoot to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Audits and Compliance: Support the Technical Services team during regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects and assist with implementation.
  • Safety and Education: Uphold safety standards and participate in ongoing education and training
