MSE Environmental is looking for candidates to join our environmental consulting team as part time entry level mold laboratory technician analyst. The laboratory technician main responsibility is to create analyze mold air samples samples delivered by our consulting team using an AI automated microscope to analyze mold spore trap air samples. This position exists to provide operational support to our environmental consulting team, environmental data analyst, report writers and to support in our fast paced environment. All laboratory technicians work under the guidance and supervision of the operations team and environmental consultants.

REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or higher preferred
• Adequate verbal and written communication skills
• Must speak English and able to work in US
• Good Math skills
• Able to work alone or as a team as needed
• Able to follow direction and verbal or written requests and instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Able to stand and sit for long period.
• Able to look through small micrscope lens and have clear vision
• Follow company safety policies
• Punctual
• Dependable
• Must be computer saavy, use email and apple technology products
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• Must follow MSE Environmental Foundations of our Brand
• Must have a valid US Drivers License
• Must live in the Las Vegas area to work from MSE Environmental Office

• Complete laboratory mold air sample analysis per MSE Scope and microscope methodologies as listed on sample request
• Complete up to 25 air samples a day duing working period
• Setup samples on microscope slides
• Using an artificial intelligence (AI) microscope with Ipad, configure the analysis of each slide.
• Thoroughly run the mold slide with AI micrscope and output data to a PDF
• Complete required paperwork associated with laboratory samples
• Other duties deemed appropriate by supervisor or manager
