The Role: Laboratory Technician - Construction / manufacturing
Type: Permanent
Salary: £25k – £27k

2fawcett are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a leading manufacturing business in Loughborough. As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll undertake QC control and compliance testing of products, as well as product development, evaluation and certification work.

Responsibilities:
- Perform product testing, including rate of set, colour accuracy, Cr(VI) assay
- Support production by carrying out routine QC testing
- Record and maintain data of QC-tested manufactured products
- Prepare and manage retained samples and storage
- Carry out routine maintenance and calibrations of testing equipment and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Analyse complaints by testing returned samples and reviewing original results
- Ensure good housekeeping standards in the lab
