Nevertheless, it’s rarely openly spoken about and it’s a disease that has a large impact on the quality of life of individuals, their families, and caregivers.
We are now looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Incontinence (Inco) Laboratory, where we focus on continue to develop innovative solutions to help people manage incontinence and live a full, active life. You can read more here: Inkontinensvård för Vårdpersonal - Hygienprodukter | TENA
Our Inco Laboratory is focused on a variety of products within the TENA range, from light incontinence through to heavy incontinence products. Our portfolio covers washable underwear and our innovative digital TENA SmartCare Change Indicator™.

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree in a technical field or an upper secondary school diploma combined with experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Confident user of the office package, especially excel
  • Experience in writing reports is a merit
  • Interest in product/material development and evaluation

Responsibilities:

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of an experienced team that tests and analyses our innovation products in compliance with Essity methods and processes.

Some of your work responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate the performance of new or existing products, packaging, and materials, including testing and securing data storage, as part of laboratory support for innovation projects, value engineering, and quality improvements. This support is provided to laboratory engineers or test initiators, such as material or product developers.
  • Support and/or participate in enabling projects and method development projects.
  • Perform testing of competitor products within your area of expertise.
  • Maintain knowledge of test methods in your assigned area.
  • Adhere to procedures and instructions related to health and safety, laboratory processes, and other relevant areas.

This is an 11-month temporary role based in Mölndal.
