Core Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team with Saybolt. This is a unique occasion to join a fast-paced leader of innovation.

Responsibilities:

The Lab Technician is responsible for performing physicochemical analyses of petroleum products, chemicals, and crude oil in accordance with established standards and procedures. The role involves ensuring accurate analysis, maintaining laboratory equipment, and contributing to the implementation and validation of new research methods. This position also requires maintaining thorough documentation, controlling laboratory equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
Perform physicochemical analyses of petroleum products, chemicals, and crude oil according to standard procedures and instructions.
Analyze research results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to laboratory equipment and processes.
Monitor and control laboratory equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and within specified guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness and order within the laboratory to comply with safety and operational standards.
Participate in the implementation and validation of new research methods.
Assist in Proficiency Testing programs to maintain high laboratory performance standards.
Operate in a shift-based work environment to support continuous laboratory operations.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as designated by the line manager.
