We are looking for a Laboratory Technician (all genders) to join our Biochemistry team in Quality Control. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out analytical protein analysis, with a focus on biochemical analysis, in compliance with GMP and safety guidelines (mainly Elisa and qPCR).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician, BTA or BSc in Biology
  • First experience with ELISA is a must (experience with qPCR is a plus)
  • Experience in the field of Quality Control and GMP is a plus
  • You are independent, responsible and have a very precise way of working. You have good communication and teamwork skills and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
  • You enjoy being part of a young, dynamic team, are committed and have initiative
  • Fluent in either German or English (language skills in the respective other language is a plus)

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine analysis with a focus on ELISA and qPCR (sometimes also gel electrophoresis), in compliance with GMP and safety guidelines
  • Method implementation, validation and method transfer
  • Administrative activities, such as documenting the results and creating work instructions
  • Support laboratory maintenance (responsibility for equipment) and ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy
  • Close cooperation with shift workers and apprentices as well as on-call duty
