Responsibilities:

In Vitro Drug Evaluation

  • Assist graduate students in in vitro drug evaluation study on cancer cell lines (4 cell lines).
  • Assist graduate students in in vivo drug evaluation study on animal xenograft tumor models (6 experiments).
  • Help graduate students in developing cancer cell lines/tumor lines (1 line per month).

Other Duties

  • Participating at regular laboratory meeting and providing updates on the status of animal studies including inventory of animals in the animal care facility.
  • Data analysis, reporting and presentation of results. Provides high-level impact on research outcomes and organizational success.
  • Planning of experiments through autonomous research design and execution.
  • Evaluating literature; assists in the production of high-profile publications within the field.
  • Orders materials for the project.
