Job Description

CHECK IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s / Master´s degree in engineering or similar degree or experience, Aerospace Engineering will be considered as a plus
  • 5+ years of working experience with systems test benches or laboratories
  • 5+ years of work experience Aircraft systems (Structures, Flight Controls, Electric Propulsion, etc.)
  • Familiarity with writing test sequences, test plans, test reports.
  • Experience with Requirements Engineering
  • Very good knowledge of the English language and proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Solid knowledge in at least one of the following areas: electrical systems, rotors, noise & vibrations, or strain gaugesExperience with high voltage electrical systems

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for propulsion tests, ensuring they align with project objectives and industry standards.
  • A strong background in testing, and be comfortable working in both on-site and off-site testing environments.
  • Conduct tests in several test rigs in Volocopter related to propulsion and wind tunnels.
  • You will be deeply involved in identifying and documenting test results and, if applicable, deviations.
  • It will be your duty to set up, configure and validate the test equipment before each test execution.
  • You will analyze test data, making recommendations for improvements and refinements
