Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assist the Production Team.
  • Assist with loading and offloading equipment/parts using forkilift.
  • Maintain, organize site and shop clean up.
  • Perform garbage dig out on compactors.
  • Operate pressure washer to clean equipment.
  • Operate hand tools to assist productions/service team.
  • Willingness to operate propane forklift to maneuver heavy equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast=paced work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read measuring tape
  • Experience and comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
  • Forklift operation (an asset, willing to train)
  • Welding experience (an asset, willing to train)
    Work Environment
    Physical Demands: While performing duties of this job, a technician would be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel.
    Must be able to drive safely for periods of up to 2 to 3 hours at a time to reach job destinations. Must be able to have manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools required on the job.
    Note on Working Conditions: Our technicians often operate in environments where waste is present. As such, it’s crucial to be comfortable working near garbage and to always prioritize safety and cleanliness. Protective gear and adherence to health and safety guidelines are essential.

Responsibilities:

The Labourer will support various departments in the function of their role. This includes the welding team, service technicians, pressure washing and more. The Labourer may be required to operate equipment and machinery and collaborate with other employees, supervisors, project managers, and customers.
Location: This role will work from our Production Shop and/or Customer’s site.
Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
