In Australia, the company is developing 5GW of solar and storage project across the National Electricity Market (NEM) and operating a 200MW solar farm (Blue Grass Solar Farm, Queensland).
Reporting to the Land Acquisition Manager, and based in Melbourne, we are looking for a Land Acquisition Specialist.
The Land Acquisition Specialist will support all aspects property and land acquisitions for renewable projects in X-ELIO’s Australia business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the reviewing and enhancing current land acquisition strategies for all states and implement effective initiatives to increase pipeline.Site identification and analysis ing satellite mapping software, title searches, cadastral boundaries and
  • ing property overlays from various government sources.
  • Building strong relationships with landowners across a wide spectrum of backgrounds and continuing to build rapport ensuring the awareness of individual landowner’s needs and issues.
  • Support the management of timelines with high volume of process and systems to track landowner engagement coordinate travel arrangements and internal requirements.
  • Managing external stakeholders including property agents, property valuer’s external middleman and ensuring that clear instructions are communicated.
  • Support the negotiation of land agreements with landowners with strong understanding of market values particularly within the agricultural space.Support in securing land tenure
  • ing a strong understanding of property laws and the practical applicability to the development life cycle from greenfield to full construction including easements, licenses and leases.Working closely with the legal team to balance commercial and legal requirements by
  • ing a commonsense and practical approach to securing land.
  • Working closely with the development, ICX and engineering teams to mitigate any foreseeable risks from early stage opportunities through to securing of land tenure.
