The Opportunity
Our Land team is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary, Alberta to support specific project or needs.
We are seeking a Land Analyst to join the Land Operations Projects team, executing projects while mentoring the land analysts supporting Integrity and Expansion Projects Implementation. You’ll work with the team to ensure land access is achieved according to project schedules, applicable corporate policies, land processes and procedures, and legal and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do
- Day-to-day support and oversight in the planning and execution of the Integrity and Expansion projects land scope, in alignment with project and business unit goals
- Provide support and oversight in the management of Land related project costs
- Mentor a busy land analyst team
- Liaise with our clients, TC regional personnel and impacted industry organizations
- Manage and provide guidance to our area land service providers
- Ongoing engagement with the team towards the practice of early identification and communication of project risks
- Work closely with the manager to solution escalated project issues
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively across our organization and the industry for issue resolution
- Act as an ambassador of TC Energy with external stakeholders and landowners
- Analyze and track metrics as it relates to pipeline integrity projects to identify trends for development of action plans
- Championing and leading the development and promotion of a safe working culture
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree or appropriate professional accreditation
- Minimum 8 years of related experience
- Detailed knowledge of CER Operations & Maintenance regulatory requirements across Canada
- Dynamic broad thinking that recognizes interdependencies and connections in complex environments and able to appreciate multi-faceted contexts
- Ability to develop and manage programs and resources, while dealing with ambiguity and a dynamic work environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to participate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Surface Land working on operational and maintenance projects
- Excellent organizational skills entailing demonstrated ability for goal setting, delegation, time management and project management
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated success contributing to strategic business results
- General knowledge of applicable codes, practices, laws, and regulatory processes relevant to the energy infrastructure
- Knowledge of pipeline construction and operations best management practices
- PMP designation.
